Crow deterrent: Holographic pinwheel

There are a few crows that have been poking at my plant pots, and I've tried hanging old CDs, which seemed to work for a little while. One time, I saw some crows and wondered why the CD trick wasn't working and noticed that it had been flipped over to my neighbor's side fo the fence! Tricky, tricky crows...

With spring on its way, I've noticed a few crows hanging around my backyard and I want to make sure they don't mess with my sprouting plants. So I am trying these holographic pinwheels that I found on Amazon, and so far, they seem to work really well! I haven't seen a crow near my plants since I placed these out. I worry, though, that if there isn't a breeze, they may not be enough of a deterrent, but I think they're worth a try. I'll update again if I notice anything different.
