This spring and summer had quite a few hot days and Darlingtonia don't do well in extreme heat. In the past, I've tried putting ice cubes directly on the soil and/or pouring cold water into the pots. This year, I also put up a shade cloth, and nested my Darlingtonia between taller Sarracenia (which can take a little more heat). All of these things seemed to help and now it looks like I've got some healthy cobra lilies growing again.
