Layer of wildfire ash on my plants

If you look closely, you can see the ash layer on my Sarracenia. This year (and the last couple of years) have been rough, with serious wildfires, destroying homes and killing people. South Lake Tahoe was evacuated today, which is really sad and scary. I'm lucky that all I have to deal with is poor air quality and this layer of ash. Environmental protection is so important - our relationship with nature is really fragile.
