When I first started out, I didn't have that many plants, but I knew I wanted to grow some tropical pitcher plants, having seen a bunch at World's Rare Plants. I wanted to start with something relatively small and not too expensive, and found this one on Amazon. The first one I got was the PlantHouse 5, and then we added another one, the PlantHouse 3, when I started growing more Nepenthes and needed a "tropical" section.
Initially, I thought this would be plenty big for the plants I planned to grow - boy, was I wrong! Once I started getting into it, I was trading and collecting and propagating more plants, and quickly outgrew this pop-up greenhouse. I'd still recommend starting out with something like this, since other options are much more costly, and require more space, and commitment. Since I was just starting out, the pop-up was a great option. I've since given it to a friend of mine who is interested in growing carnivorous plants.
